April 2020’s Book – 26 Marathons by Meb Keflezighi with Scott Douglas

This is a great read, particularly for a first-time marathoner -priceless really.

Meb is an Eritrean born American long-distance runner. Meb is a 2004 Olympic silver medalist in the marathon and finished in fourth place in the 2012 Summer Olympics. (Source Wikipedia)

Meb walks through his entire marathoning career, one race at a time. Each chapter is about a marathon he ran as well as the lesson he learnt at each race.

This book would also be handy for a seasoned runner too, it can be used as a handy reference when despondency hits. It would also come in handy as a quick read before a marathon, it can definitely be read and reread.

Classification: informative, motivational book

Recommended for: Aspiring or experienced marathon runner
